Our client seeks to employ an experienced and motivated individual to assist in their service department as a Service Advisor. This role will be based at their dealership, in Wongan Hills.
Wongan Hills is a beautiful rural town with a wonderful school and great community. They can offer relocation assistance, for the right candidate, if required.
Reporting to the Service Manager, this dynamic role is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor or Technician looking to ‘get off the tools’, or a Salesperson / Customer Service professional with a passion for Toyota, motor vehicles and customer service in team environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong focus towards delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities & Duties:
The Service Advisor carries out a range of duties related to being the key contact between the customer and the dealership, for repair and maintenance of vehicles, while ensuring customer satisfaction, including:
Meeting and greeting clients, customers and visitors
Taking phone & email enquiries
Creating and managing service bookings
Keeping customers up to date with vehicle progress
Estimating the cost and time needed to complete a job
Liaising with the Workshop Manager to ensure all work is carried out in the allocated time frame
Gaining authorization for extra work
Promoting the dealership and the Toyota brand
Required skills, experience and qualifications:
Previous Toyota experience would be advantageous
Must have high attention to detail
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Competent use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent organisational skills
Exceptional customer service skills with a pleasant & professional phone manner
Experience working with Dealer Management Systems, in particular – Equip
Sound knowledge of auto mechanics or technical qualification.
Interest in mechanics, technology and the automotive industry
Ability to work with both the public and workshop technicians in a courteous and professional manner
