Job Description

Our client operates a Stone Restoration and Preservation business, servicing Sydney and its surrounds.

 

Our client is sponsoring Full-time Stonemasons  who pride themselves on attention to detail to join their growing team. 

 

The role involves stone restoration and maintenance including:

•   Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work

•   Preparing wall, vanity and bench tops and floor surfaces, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning, resurfacing and polishing and sealing marble, granite and other stone surfaces

•   Grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout

•   Applying waterproofing systems

•   May lay floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar composition

•   May lay coloured tiles in patterns to create mosaics

•   Polishing and sealing stone surfaces

 

To be successful, you will require:

3 years minimum experience in stonemasonry/polishing and or stone restoration

High attention to detail is essential

Willingness to learn new techniques and develop skill sets

The ability to work autonomously and part of team

Drivers licence

White card an advantage
